Dr. Aguilar has been in private practice in the northwest Houston area since 1975. His patient base now includes three generations of family members.

Dr. Aguilar is a native of the Texas Rio Grand Valley and is fluent in Spanish. In 1968, he received his B.S. degree in biology from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1972. Upon graduation, Dr. Aguilar served with the 464 th Medical Detatchment in Landstuhl, West Germany as an Army dentist. While overseas, Dr. Aguilar was a member of the Western Germany Armed Forces Dental Society.

Dr. Aguilar is member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston District Dental Society. Dr.Aguilar was recently recognized by the Greater Houston Dental Society for 25 years of loyal and distinguished service in organized dentistry. In addition, Dr. Aguilar is a member of the Southwest Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry Study Club.

Dr Aguilar is married and has three children .
